About GNOU

Gannan Navel Orange University (GNOU) is the first higher education institution in China exclusively dedicated to the citrus value chain — from genomics and precision agriculture to postharvest technology and global agribusiness. Situated in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, the heart of Asia’s largest navel orange production area, our campus spans 360 acres, including a 200-hectare experimental orchard, a National Citrus Germplasm Repository, and a pilot food innovation center. GNOU combines rigorous scientific inquiry with field immersion, preparing graduates to lead in sustainable agriculture, food security, and rural revitalization.
